TV disruption after work delayed

Thousands of homes in the Midlands had their television signals disrupted as work ahead of the digital switchover was delayed by strong winds.The analogue signal was switched off while a 207ft (63m) antenna was put up at the Wrekin in Shropshire. Windy conditions stopped engineers working during the night, but the full signal was back up by 1900 BST.
