Tomlinson suffers hand blow
19 Sep 2007 - 15:37:42
Crewe Alexandra goalkeeper Stuart Tomlinson has suffered a hand injury putting an end to talk of Owain Fon Williams leaving Gresty Road on loan.
Tomlinson injured a thumb in training and is set to have a scan on the digit.
Assistant manager Neil Baker told the Sentinel: "We've been thinking about getting Owain out on loan, but that's had to be put on hold now while we review the situation with Stuart.
"Stuart went to hospital to have an X-ray after training and we need to see what damage he's done."
Julien Baudet and Danny O'Donnell are also currently on the sidelines but Steven Schumacher, who suffered a dead leg at the weekend, has been able to train this week.
