Thordarson eyes several swoops

The Icelander has overseen a massive summer clearout at Gresty Road with 11 players leaving the club, while the only new arrival has been defender Patrick Ada from Histon. Alex are set to begin their preparations for their League Two campaign on June 29 and Thordarson told the club's official website: "I have been speaking to players but nothing has been decided yet. "A lot of people are on holiday and there is not a lot going on. But my squad will be back on June 29 and I hope we have three or four new players in by then."
