Thordarson eyes long-term loans

Crewe boss Gudjon Thordarson says he has held preliminary talks about long-term loan deals for players from two Premier League and Championship clubs.He told BBC Radio Stoke: "If I can pull the deals off, it's good for everyone as we can develop their players. "If a player is coming here for the long term, he's able to settle for the season and maximise his effort.
