Rodgers set for Crewe exit

Crewe manager Dario Gradi has paved the way for Luke Rodgers to leave in the transfer window by admitting the striker is no longer part of his plans.
The 24-year-old former Shrewsbury Town striker has struggled to hold down a starting berth at Gresty Road this season and is out of contract in the summer.
"I have agreed to let him leave in the transfer window for a small fee," Gradi told the club's official website.
"He is out of contract in the summer and while his attitude has been excellent and he has worked hard and improved his game, he has been in to see me and said that he would like to move on to gain more first-team opportunities.
"There are three or four players ahead of him now, so I have agreed to that request and we would allow him to go in January if the right offer came in."
