Reds stopper joins Crewe

Crewe have completed the signing of Liverpool central defender Danny O'Donnell on a six-month loan deal.
The 20-year-old, who has been a regular in the Reds reserves having captained the Under-18s at Anfield, is looking to gain some valuable first-team experience and help Crewe boss Dario Gradi shore up a leaky defence which has already shipped five goals in two League One outings.
O'Donnell did not feature at Belle Vue on Tuesday as Doncaster stormed back, after going one-down to teenager Nicky Maynard's early strike, to win 3-1.
Following the defeat Gradi said: "This is a decent league and they are a good side.
"I thought they caused us a lot of problems and played some super football at times.
"We didn't start badly ourselves and we scored a great goal, but after that we were unable to test Doncaster as much as they tested us.
"I never thought that this league would be a walkover but we are learning each game and our time will come."
