Railwaymen snare McNamee

Crewe Alexandra have snapped up Watford midfielder Anthony McNamee on loan until the end of the season.

The 23-year-old has been only a bit-part player for the Hornets this season, scoring once in ten appearances for Aidy Boothroyd's side this season.

He moves to Gresty Road looking to gain valuable match practice and fitness in the coming months.

McNamee told his new club's official website: "Hopefully, by coming here to Crewe I can play a lot of the remaining games and I'm looking forward to it.

"Obviously I haven't played recently, so hopefully I can just get some games and play well and maybe help create and score some goals as well."
