Referee Chris Sarginson infuriated Port Vale by awarding a penalty which settled a hard-fought local derby.Vale felt skipper Gareth Owen had fairly taken the ball when challenging Clayton Donaldson but Sarginson thought differently and pointed to the spot. Owen was booked and Crewe striker Shaun Miller made no mistake when he placed the ball to the left of Chris Martin.
