Maynard inks Alex deal

Crewe Alexandra striker Nicky Maynard has penned a new long-term deal with the League One side.
The 19-year-old has signed a contract that will keep him at Gresty Road until the end of the 2009-10 campaign.
Maynard has come through the youth team ranks at Alex and made his first-team debut last term when he scored with his first touch after coming on as a substitute in the 4-2 win against Millwall.
He has impressed this term as well and has now scored 12 games in only 21 appearances for Dario Gradi's side.
