Lunt to stay with Alex

Crewe Alexandra have extended midfielder Kenny Lunt's loan spell at Gresty Road until the end of the season.

The 28-year-old former Alex captain returned to the club last month from Sheffield Wednesday and made his debut in the 1-1 draw at Leeds United.

He has also featured in the home defeat to Carlisle United and Saturday's goalless draw at Northampton Town.

Lunt started his career with Crewe and made more than 300 appearances for the club before joining the Owls in the summer of 2006.
