Kevan rejects Crewe assistant job

Notts County assistant manager Dave Kevan has turned down the chance to become Gudjon Thordarson's number two at Crewe Alexandra. "The offer from Crewe was very appealing and I had to give it proper consideration," said Kevan. "But after all that (Notts County manager) Ian McParland and I have been through over the past 18 months, I cannot walk out on him now."
