Crewe defender Billy Jones is set to make his long-awaited return from injury when the Railwaymen take on Nottingham Forest this weekend.
Jones was a regular in Dario Gradi's side last season, but has struggled through thigh and back injuries this term and has not figured since December.
The 17-year-old has trained well this week and Gradi is confident the 17-year-old will fit to face Forest on Saturday.
"Billy is progressing well and we are fully expecting him to be available for Saturday," said Gradi.
"He has got a couple of weeks training behind him and is ready to return."
