Holland happy to keep Maynard

Crewe Alexandra's first-team coach Steve Holland hopes Nicky Maynard will still be at Gresty Road when the new season starts in just over three weeks' time.
The 21-year-old has been linked with several clubs during the summer but Holland thinks it would be in Maynard's long-term interests to remain at the club for at least one more year.
He told Alex's official website: "There's been some interest in Nicky. For now though we expect, and are certainly hoping, that he'll be here with us at the start of the season.
"There's a lot of money going around in the Championship at the moment with some of the transfers that are taking place and people can see that Nicky has a lot of potential, but he's still developing as a player."
