Crewe Alexandra boss Dario Gradi has blamed goalkeeper Ben Williams for two of Burnley's goals in Saturday's 3-0 defeat.
Gradi was disappointed with the effort of his side as they capitulated to the Clarets at Turf Moor, but was in no doubt that Williams should have kept the scoreline down.
John Spicer grabbed a goal in each half for the home side, with on-loan Nathan Dyer wrapping up proceedings.
Gradi said: "We had one or two half goes and it looked as though we could get back in it, but I was disappointed with the second goal and have told Ben Williams that.
"Again with the third goal, I thought that went through him and we weren't going to come back from 3-0."
