Crewe defender Stephen Foster has agreed a new three-year deal with the Nationwide Division One new boys.
Foster was a first-team regular last season and is another player to have come through the youth team ranks at Gresty Road.
"Everyone at Crewe Alexandra Football Club is delighted that Steve has decided to sign this new deal," press officer Rob Wilson told the club's official website.
"He has graduated through the club's renowned youth academy and like so many players before him, has now established himself as a first-team regular.
"Foz has become an important and popular member of the first-team at Crewe and will only improve himself further by facing First Division strikers again next season.
"It is a challenge that he, the management and players are looking forward to following our promotion."
