"Dario lets me do more and more and I just keep learning things every day."Working under the master (Gradi) is brilliant for me, I couldn't have asked for a better mentor and every time something like what happened on Saturday crops up its good for me."It's the next step, I have a had a taste of it before and I know there is more to learn so its a case of me progressing along."Davis, 45, formerly Nantwich Town manager, was appointed as the number two at Crewe under previous boss Gudjon Thordarson in 2009.
