Crewe to offer Woodards new deal

Crewe are set to offer midfielder Danny Woodards a new contract, after he had previously said he would leave the club in the summer, reports BBC Radio Stoke.The 25-year-old will open talks with the club, despite saying he would leave them when his current deal expired. Chairman John Bowler said: "We'll be asking one or two of the players if they're interested in staying, so the manager can plan for next season."
