Crewe's Murphy to have hernia op

Crewe Alexandra midfielder Luke Murphy will miss the remainder of the season as he requires a hernia operation.The Alex academy product has recently been struggling with a groin injury and has missed the last three matches because of the problem. The central midfielder will need surgery in readiness to be fit for the start of pre-season training in July.
