Crewe net youngster Verma on loan

Crewe Alexandra have signed young Leicester City midfielder Aman Verma on a three-month loan deal. Verma, 21, who is eligible to play in the Carling Cup tie against Blackpool on Tuesday, will remain at the Alexandra Stadium until 10 November. He is yet to make a first-team appearance for the Foxes, although he has featured regularly for the reserves since joining from Redditch United.
