Crewe duo off to Iceland

Crewe youngsters Jordan Connerton and Kelvin Mellor have completed loan moves to Icelandic Premier League side IBV.Striker Connerton, 21, and midfielder Mellor, 20, who both made their first-team debuts as late substitutes earlier this season, will stay with the club until mid-July before returning to Alex for pre-season training.Mellor told the club's official website: "It's going to be a good experience for us, first-team football, playing games."The only way to get better is to play games."Connerton added: "I'm looking forward to getting out there and playing first-team football."
