Crewe cut two more stars from squad

Defender George Abbey's contract, which had a year to run, has been cancelled by mutual consent, while winger Colin Daniel will not be offered a new deal. The departures follow the announcement earlier in the week that goalkeeper Stuart Tomlinson, defender Chris McCready, midfielder Mark Carrington, plus youngsters Josh Thompson and Luke Danville were all shown the exit door. Julien Baudet has also left Gresty Road after agreeing to join Major League Soccer side Colorado Rapids.
