Crewe chairman wants promotion

Crewe Alexandra chairman John Bowler is targeting promotion back to League One at the first attempt. "Promotion has to be our aim, we want to quickly put behind us last season," Bowler told BBC Radio Stoke. The Alex have lost both their opening games of the new season 2-1 and were booed off the pitch against Dagenham and Redbridge last Saturday.
