Blackpool defender Marlon Broomes has extended his loan stay with Crewe Alexandra by a further month.

The 31-year-old has played five games for Gudjon Thordarson's side since moving to Gresty Road last month.

Broomes joined Blackpool on a free transfer last summer but has made only one substitute appearance for the Seasiders.

Earlier in his career, the central defender played for Sheffield Wednesday, Preston North End and Stoke City.
