Baker backing for Maynard

Crewe Alexandra's assistant manager Neil Baker has urged the Railwaymen's players to ease the pressure on striker Nicky Maynard, following Luke Varney's summer exit from Gresty Road.
Maynard and Varney formed a prolific partnership last season, with the latter earning a big-money move to Charlton Athletic.
That has left Maynard to shoulder much of the goalscoring responsibility for the Alex and Baker is concerned for the 20-year-old.
He told The Sentinel: "We have to be careful we are not left relying too much on Nicky.
"Everyone has to remember it is still only his second season playing regularly for the first-team and he is still developing.
"I think he has the temperament to stand up to the pressure and he has matured well over the past 12 months, both in his play and his attitude.
"He will keep getting better, but we're still trying to get some help for him by bringing in another striker."
