Bailey making steady progress

Crewe midfielder James Bailey is expected to be back in first-team contention before the end of the month.The 21-year-old has resumed training after overcoming the troublesome stomach muscle strain that has kept him out since mid-November."It will be nice to have James back and challenging for a place in the team," said caretaker manager Dario Gradi."We have coped in his absence and there is a lot of competition for places in midfield, but James has to stay fit and try and get himself back in because we know what a good player he can be."
