Crewe Alexandra have completed the signing of Bradford City midfielder Steven Schumacher on a three-year contract.

The 23-year-old started his career as a trainee with Everton but failed to make a first-team appearance for the Premiership side.

Schumacher made six appearances while on loan at Carlisle United before moving to Bradford City on a permanent basis three years ago.

He scored 15 goals in 130 appearances for the Bantams.
