Boss Gudjon Thordarson has warned potential suitors that they will have to pay a handsome price to sign Crewe Alexandra defender John Brayford.
The 21-year-old has been with the Railwaymen for less than a year, but has made a big impact since his arrival from Burton Albion.
Thordarson told The Chronicle: "John is a player I rate highly and if the offers are not what they should be, we will hold on to him.
"It doesn't surprise me there is interest because he has been excellent for us.
"Derby put in an offer in the winter and I am aware they are still interested. There are two other clubs also considering their options.
"With three clubs interested we have a better chance of getting a good price, so I am quite optimistic that if he is sold we will get decent money."
