Alex fear for Tomlinson

Crewe Alexandra goalkeeper Stuart Tomlinson may be set for another frustrating spell on the sidelines after aggravating an old knee injury. The shot-stopper has endured one lengthy injury absence already this season after having cruciate ligament surgery last summer and will have a scan to determine the extent of the new problem. "Stuart has a problem with his knee which has kept him out of training," Alex's assistant manager Neil Baker told The Sentinel. "It's possibly related to the surgery he had last year and he's due to have a scan."
