Westwood to return to Alex XI
Ashley Westwood looks likely to return to the Crewe starting line-up when local rivals Port Vale visit Gresty Road.
Westwood was replaced in midfield by fellow academy product Danny Shelley after picking up a knock during last weekend`s win over Wycombe.
Shelley started the defeat at Torquay on Tuesday night and scored a superb free-kick, but boss Dario Gradi has dropped a strong hint that he will not keep his place in the team.
"Danny scored a terrific free-kick, which got us back into the game. However, I won't be inclined to play him on Saturday because Westy will be available again," said Gradi.
Westwood`s inclusion is likely to be the only change made by Gradi, meaning Shelley will probably be joined on the bench by Nick Powell, Calvin Zola, Joel Grant and Adam Dugdale.
