We`re not as good as we thought - Gradi

Crewe manager Dario Gradi bemoaned his side's defending after the 3-1 defeat to Carlisle saw them crash out of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy. An own goal from Clayton Donaldson put Carlisle ahead, and two further strikes from Peter Murphy made Donaldson`s effort a mere consolation. Gradi said: "We need someone who can mark at corners. We know our problem at both ends and we missed some really good chances. Clayton (Donaldson) is suffering, but he doesn`t stop. He keeps going and got a goal. "If we`d had Carlisle's centre-forward playing for us we would have won. He was causing problems all the time and was outstanding "We're not a million miles away but are not as good as we thought we were a few weeks ago. "I will try very hard to bring in a big guy who can head the ball at set plays. We conceded from three set plays and could do with a big full-back or centre-half."
