T&T call on British-based stars

They are headed by captain Dwight Yorke, who features along with his Sunderland team-mates Carlos Edwards and Kenwyne Jones, Walsall goalkeeper Clayton Ince, Brighton midfielder Chris Birchall, Crewe defender Dennis Lawrence, Wrexham's Silvio Spann and Bristol City striker Stern John.

Swansea forward Jason Scotland will not join the Soca Warriors because of an agreement with club boss Roberto Martinez, who wants him for their FA Cup clash with Fulham the following Saturday.

Coach Francisco Maturana told the TTFF website: "We have looked at all the possibilities and we believe this is the selection that can take us through the game and help us get the best possible result."

The match will be played next Wednesday at the Estadio Cuscatlan in San Salvador.
