Thordarson wants more killer touch

Joel Grant's first goal of the season grabbed the Railwaymen all three points in a hard-fought derby at Gresty Road on Saturday after Ricky Sappleton had scored his first goal for the Silkmen to cancel out Calvin Zola's first-half opener. But Thordarson said: "The most important thing was to get the win, but we should have killed it off early on. "We created lots of chances, but again have let ourselves down in front of goal. "We have to be more clinical, ruthless and keep our composure. Once we have that we will have a decent team."
