The Icelander has already added defender Patrick Ada to his squad, but accepts there is currently little activity in the transfer market. He told the Sentinel: "Everyone appears to be on holiday at the moment. I've spoken to a couple of agents about players, but it is very quiet. "Everyone is holding on to see what they are going to get. It is just the nature of the game and players are trying to get the best possible deal." Thordarson is also trying to arrange a pre-season training camp in Portugal as an alternative to the proposed Austrian tour. He added: "I'm waiting to have that confirmed in the next few days, but we're unlikely to go to Austria. I've got two or three options on the table and that is all being discussed at the moment."
