Thordarson expects better from Alex

Goals from Dave Hibbert and Joss Labadie, on loan from West Brom, gave the Shrews victory, but Crewe missed a host of chances, especially near the end when they had five strikers on the field. Thordarson said: "From the chances we created, we should have got something out of it, but in the end we played with five strikers, hit the post and bar and even when we were 2-0 down we had enough chances to win." On Shrewsbury's first goal Thordarson added: "Terrible marking. First we allow the ball into the area and not only is Hibbert unmarked, but so are two others. "That's a concern. The defenders just disappeared."
