Taylor extends loan spell with Railwaymen.
Rhys Taylor has extened his loan spell at Gresty Road until the end of the season. The 20-year-old initially signed on a 2-month deal as cover for the injured Steve Phillips but the Chelsea youngster has impressed and expressed a desire to stay for the rest of the season.The Welsh U-21 International's original loan deal was due to expire next Wednesday but the Chelsea youngster has now extended that until April 21st with the option of emergency loan coming to effect after that date.Crewe's number one keep Steve Phillips is back in light training and is not expected to be considered until the end of the month but the former Bristol Rovers keeper may have to be content with the bench with Taylor putting in some fine displays.
