Striker Elding ends Crewe contract

The former Stockport and Leeds forward, 27, is free to look for another club and has been linked with a surprise move to Ferencvaros, who are managed by former Derby, Everton and Blackburn defender Craig Short.[LNB]A statement on Crewe's official website read: "The striker and the club have agreed to mutually terminate his contract with immediate affect.[LNB]"Everyone at Crewe Alexandra would like to thank Anthony for everything during his time here, and wish him all the best for his future career."[LNB]Crewe paid Leeds in the region of £180,000 for Elding in the summer of 2008 but after only one goal in 14 league starts, he was loaned to Lincoln last season.[LNB]He joined Kettering on loan at the start of November and his stint at the Blue Square Premier club ended on Sunday.[LNB][LNB]
