Stokes looks set for return to Trotters.
Chris Stokes looks set to return to parent club Bolton Wanderers when his loan spell expires tomorrow after Shrewsbury Town. 19-year-old Stokes has been out injured since picking up a hamstring and ankle injury in the 1-0 defeat at home to Notts County.Stokes scholarship at the Reebok expires in the season and Dario Gradi will look into signing the player if it possible.Crewe boss Dario Gradi told the official website "Chris is progressing well from the couple of injuries he picked up, but he isn't fit and will need a bit of time to get his match fitness back. "He will return to Bolton but we will look at it again because he is a good player. We will have to see what his situation is."
