Silkmen complete midfielder swoop
Daniel joined Crewe in the summer of 2007 after impressing for Eastwood Town in the Northern Premier League and has made 12 starts for the Railwaymen this term.
Alexander said: "I wanted to sign him last season so I am delighted he has agreed to join us at the Moss Rose this time.
"Whilst he is predominantly a left sided midfielder, he has also played up front. These are two areas in which we have struggled in recently.
"Its clear we need to freshen things up and change things around a little."
