The Iceland Under-21 international had only met briefly with his new team-mates after joining on loan from Reading before netting a clinical finish in the 4-0 victory over Brighton. He said: "The boys have been really good to me and have helped me settle in quickly. "I think it is a good experience to come to a club in a relegation battle, but to be fair the boys have been playing really well here. "The manager Gudjon Thordarson and I have known each other a long time. He wants good discipline, wants the team to work hard, and the rewards are there."
