Short deal for Lewis
Crewe have signed winger Lewis Short on a 12-month deal.
The youngster has been offered a permanent contract after impressing boss Dario Gradi during pre-season.
He scored in the 8-1 thrashing of Lancaster City during the summer.
Gradi told the club`s official website the 20-year-old was `a typical Crewe signing` after assistant boss Neil Baker spotted his potential while playing for non-league Congleton.
