Antoni Sarcevic has joined Evo-Stik Premiership side Chester FC on a two year deal.

Sarcevic who joined the Railwaymen back in May 2010 for a fee of £20k from Woodley Sports. He was then loaned out to Chester FC in October 2010 where he made 7 appearances for the Blues netting two goals in the process.

Sarcevic made his debut for the Alex in February 2011 where he netted a goal in the 6-2 defeat away at Northampton Town.

Sarcevic made 16 appearances for the Alex and last featured in the 2-1 defeat against Northwich Victoria in the Cheshire Senior Cup. After the game Sarcevic decided he no longer wanted to play for Crewe and with that Chester FC moved fast to tie up a deal believed to be £10k for his services.

Steve Davis told The Sentinal newspaper "Antoni came to me after the game and told me he didn't want to play for Crewe," said boss Davis. "I told him if that was the case I didn't want him here.

"When players show they're unhappy the negativity can spread and the best thing to do is to get rid of it. It was nothing to do with his ability."

Sarcevic will make his debut against Matlock Town as the Blues look to keep the pressure on top placed team Northwich Victoria.
