Railwaymen target loan additions

The postponement of Tuesday's home game against Bristol Rovers was the fifth time the Alex have had a match called off this year and Thordarson's side now face three games a week until the end of March in order to fulfil the backlog.[LNB]The Icelander has already signed goalkeeper John Ruddy and centre-half Marlon Broomes from Everton and Blackpool respectively, and he is scouring the market for further additions.[LNB]"We will look into doing something now we can do loans again," said assistant manager Neil Baker.[LNB]"As far as numbers go, our squad compares well with most, but that doesn't mean we won't look for reinforcements.[LNB]"We don't have anyone lined up, but we will scan the reserve games in the next few weeks. If we can bring someone in who will improve the team then we will try to do so."[LNB][LNB]
