Railwaymen sign up five academy graduates
Crewe Academy graduates Nick Powell, Max Clayton, Brendan Daniels, George Ray and Ben Garratt have signed professional contracts with Crewe. Defender Ray, striker Clayton and midfielder Powell have committed to the Alex up to the summer of 2014. England U-17 goalkeeper Ben Garratt and winger Brendan Daniels have signed deals until 2013. While England U-17 players Nick Powell and Max Clayton have signed three-year deals that will keep them at the club until 2014 while defender George Ray has signed a similar deal.Powell and Clayton have both impressed in the academy and have had run outs in the first team and will feature more next season.
