Alex boss Gudjon Thordarson utilised the loan system effectively last term following his arrival in January, bringing the likes of John Ruddy, Marlon Broomes and Gylfi Sigurdsson to Gresty Road on temporary deals. "The loan signings did well for us last season and that is something we will look at again," Thordarson told the club's official website. "It is an opportunity for some younger players to come out and play on loan and it is something I have looked to develop with a few managers in the game, especially in the Premier League and the Championship. "Convincing those players to come out on loan to League Two is another thing but it is something we will look to do."
