Railwaymen draw Preston North End in Carling Cup.
Crewe will travel to Deepdale to take on Preston North End in the first round of the Carling Cup. The game will likely take place on Tuesday 9th August and will prove a good test for the Railwaymen as Preston suffered relegation to League One last season.
