Powell to make bench against Seasiders.
Young prospect Nick Powell has been named on the bench for the visit of Premiership newboys Blackpool in tonights pre-season friendly. 16-year-old Powell who has come through the academy signed scholarship forms to fend off interest from Arsenal.The England U-17 player has been in sparkling form for the academy side and has been promoted to the first team for his efforts.
