Not super for Dario

Crewe boss Dario Gradi was thoroughly unimpressed by what he saw as his side crashed 1-0 at Hereford. Stuart Fleetwood's goal midway through the first period settled the game and gave the Bulls three vital points in their battle against relegation. "I thought it was a poor game and lacking in atmosphere," said Gradi. "I certainly did not think that Hereford were better than us. "The players worked hard enough but the pitches don't help us much at this time of the year, although this pitch is better than ours. "They are all bumpy and to get that first-time passing going when the ball is bobbling about is very difficult. "I thought we defended well. Apart from just that once, our goal was not in any danger and Steve Phillips did not have anything to do - although, after the first few minutes neither did their goalkeeper."
