And Armstrong-Holmes insists that any approach for Ian McParland's number two would not be welcomed as he has 'unfinished business' at the Meadow Lane club.

The chariman told County's official website: "We have had no approach from Crewe for Dave Kevan and I would certainly expect a call if they were interested in him because he is under contract at Notts County.
"Having said that, there is no point Crewe contacting us because Dave is going nowhere. He and Ian McParland have unfinished business at Meadow Lane."
