No new deals for Railwaymen boss

The Railwaymen have had a disappointing season so far and sit 18th in the table but Gradi is not about to panic.

The transfer window is currently closed, but if Gradi was to make a move, he would have to use the loan market to bring players to the club.

However, he is focused on working with the players available to him.

Gradi told the club's official site: "I do not expect anything to happen this week. If we were able to buy someone, it wouldn't be for a lot of money anyway, and as we can't do that at the moment our only option is to loan.

"Where would we get a better player than what we have for what we could afford? If we got a player from a big club, chances are they would be a younger player, or one of their kids.

"It is still a possibility obviously, but I don't want someone who can't get into a division one team, or someone who's wages we can't really afford. The market is out there though, and it is there to be explored."
