Moore could make swift Alex return
Moore was carried off on a stretcher after 30 minutes of last weekend's 1-0 defeat by Millwall following a kick on his thigh.
The injury has been diagnosed as internal bleeding on the thigh muscle.
Moore underwent intensive treatment on Sunday and the problem has settled down sufficiently to raise hopes that he could be fit for the clash at the County Ground.
However, the news is not so good regarding Mark Carrington, who also left the Gresty Road pitch early on Saturday. The midfielder will spend several weeks on the sidelines after suffering a groin strain.
